A Discovery flight can be different things to different people. A Discovery Flight can be a fun, local introductory flight in which you, under my close supervision, take control of the aircraft. You get to experience the wonderful world of powered and unpowered flight from the pilot's perspective and take the controls to turn, climb, and descend. You may control the aircraft as little or as much as you like. A Discovery Flight can also be a sightseeing tour of the surrounding area. It can be “fly over my house and wave hi” experience or it could be “check out potential fishing spots” flight. But most of all, Discovery flights are meant to be FUN.
